More than pleased
By Locorunner (Ogden, IL) on Nov 20, 2011
At this point, I've got almost 80 miles on my Instincts. I'm really enjoying them. The performance is exactly what I expected after spending TONS of time researching. One thing I'm curious about is how well mine will hold up. I've read stories of people putting more than 1,000 miles on a pair, a... (Read more)

Overall good minimalist road shoe.
By Jules (Mt. Holly, NC) on Nov 21, 2011
I am very pleased with this shoe. It has good room in the toe box and provides good cushion for the pavement, however, my shoes wear quickly on the outside midfoot area where I land. I have had to add shoe goo to extend the life of the sole. Other than that, I am very pleased.

the more I wear them the more I like them
By hulbs (Utah) on Nov 21, 2011
I've been wearing this shoe for around two months--since a few weeks after it first came out. When I first put the pair on it seemed to make my foot feel warm. However, I haven't noticed any significant perspiration. The best thing, in my opinion is that it is very comfortable. I say comfortable... (Read more)

Damn It, now in black
By Robert (Exeter, NH) on Nov 21, 2011
My only complaint was the silver color, now I see you have the shoe in black, very nice. To bad it wasn't available when I ordered my shoe 3 months back.

Cushioned shoe perfection
By treepatter (NYC) on Nov 21, 2011
I got my Instincts after i had already been running in minimal shoes for 6 about months, so i was already used to running with a mid-foot strike, and trying to run with good form. I wanted a pair of shoes for road runs that had some cushioning without going overboard, and that were zero drop.

All Around Crossfit Show
By fivetexasacres (Fort Worth, Texas) on Nov 21, 2011
I love these shoes. I use them in Crossfit for everything except rope climbing I can were them all day and when I take them off, I hardly notice the difference because my feet have been level all day. they have helped me focus my running off the heal-first strike.

A great shoe
By Berta (West Fork, Ar) on Nov 23, 2011
I've used this shoe for racing and training. It fits comfortably, and the sole provides nice protection without being squishy.
From the perspective of someone who wants a zero drop shoe for all his running and has tried several, there really hasn't been any shoe quite like this. I've had a hard... (Read more)

Excellent ChiRunning shoe!
By Fred (Greensboro, NC) on Nov 23, 2011
It's about time that a shoe manufacturer produces a zero drop shoe. I find the shoe wonderfully conducive to Chi Running, and the added cushioning should help endurance in marathons. I also appreciate the option of removing insoles for more minimalist feel. And, the "toe room" is heavenly!
